James,

On the way to get a hair cut last night, I passed by ISI on the freeway. The signs have already been changed to WRS. I guess the merger has already been completed. The management must be busy figuring out the details. I expect an upbeat conference call detailing Fidler's grand plan, a lot more news releases like todays, and more institution coverage in the next few weeks.

p.s. At this stage, most standalone DVDs aren't using VxWorks or pSOS. They might have some home grown OS, but most likely they are using some kind of scheduling/interrupt system with no OS at all. But this will change. Taking the Play Station 2 as an example, it plays games, surfs the net, and acts as a DVD player. This kind of multifunctional electronics will have operating systems, and we should get a chunk of that market.
