Three reasons for this
1. AMD ended Q3 with an inventory of 200K unsold Athlon chips because of no motherboards. So sales could exceed production by up to 200K (probably less, you do need some inventory)
2. AMD's guidance on production was a little vague -- some say 800K minimum, others say 1M minimum
3. The word is out that the ramp is going better than anticipated, including complete conversion to 0.18 by the end of October.
