Anything catch your interest in Vegas?

AOL did a sneak preview of their AOL/TV and I'd be looking at support technologies. They're in beta now with a launch scheduled for later this spring.

Philips and TiVo both had demos with AOL/TV interfaces.

Lots of HDTV displays, too. Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer, Samsung and JVC all had impressive sets. Plasma is still out in space price-wise, but there are some other solutions with more accessible prices. Private company to watch; displaytech.com

Also lots of digital cameras (still and video) from all the big names.

And of course cellular/wireless internet access is growing. E-mail and web access anywhere anytime is definitely the goal.

I'll be digging out more on 1394. Still haven't found the best pure play. Welcome suggestions.

Pat
