A question about HDR....

Lets say I want to take advantage on HDR technology.

Step 1: I buy a QCOM phone with HDR technology ($xx.00) per month.

Step 2: I set up an ISP account with xxx.net ($XX.00)

Step 3: I buy a laptop. ($1500.00 - $2000.00)

Step 4: I log on to xxx.net via my QCOM phone ($x.00 per minute charge) w/HDR through my laptop. Plus pay for my ISP.

(Granted, this is a hypothetical scenario due to the fact that none of this infrastructure is currently operating at any consumer level)

What's my other option?

I think it would be great to have high-speed unlimited wireless access at a flat rate of, let's say, $50.00/month which includes ISP & wireless modem.

Well now, that sounds like a great deal. Where can I get that?

Metricom my friends. And it's coming soon to you area.

The next AOL.
