Once again, I am expressing my opinion. We will see if I am right
or wrong. I think the current eps estimate by wall street for just
finished 2Q, and coming 3Q, 4Q are too low. MSFT will report at least
30% year over year eps growth for the 3 quarters. Even with the
numbers below, I think I am too conservative considering 3Q and 4Q
has serious upside from office2000 and windows2000 combo upgrades.

I think on Jan. 19th, the day after MSFT reports blowout earnings
and guides wall street to rise 3q and 4q eps, several analysts will
rise their eps forecast from 1.65 to 1.85 to 1.90 for the year and
the stock in my opinion will shoot up sharply. Here is what I think
is the reality vs estimates gap:

12/98 3/99 6/99 9/99

37 35 40 38

12/99 3/00 6/00 9/00

Wallstreet: 43 41 43 42
JohnD est.: 50 52 55 55

FY2000: Wall street: 1.65
FY2000: JohnD : 1.95 (to 2.00)
