<<CNBC just reported on the nature of the rumors on DELL>> This is the most I've heard on CNBC regarding Dell since the hay days of what seems an eternity ago. I preferred the old "tone" to what they are reporting now...guess we have to take the good with the marginal. Although I still belive in Dell the company, I am having more doubt about Dell the stock as the best place for my dollars. The investors are still hesitant about investing in the stock. I rode out 1999 and I don't want to go through another year like that again if I can help it. A lot of people made excellent gains on their portfolio while I kept convincing myself to be patient. I agree with what a number of people have said regarding Michael and his being "AWOL" (in a sense.) I'm still going to hang onto 1k shares but the rest will be put into other stocks which have a combination of giving me a good return this past year coupled with a favorable future. Tom
