You have to consistently lower expectations and consistently beat earnings estimates. It's not rocket science, but it sure works. Intel is also consistent. They send out their CFO to make puffy statements and then have to come back and explain why they would have beaten estimates except for these brilliant charges that they have to take for some puffy future good. Confuses the heck out of analysts and investors. Mary
