Text of Buswell's resignation:
January 6, 2000
To all interested parties:
It was with mixed emotions that I resigned my position as an Officer, Director an employee of Franklin Telecommunications Corporation, effective with the close of business, December 31, 1999. My written resignation, dated December 14, 1999, should have come as no surprise to the Franklin Board of Directors as I had made my growing dissatisfaction with the company's values and general business agenda well know to the Board since June of that year. Given that I could no longer support the decisions of this Board, it was necessary for me to resign my position.
I have offered my services to the Board as a part time, independent consultant, to work in the area of strategic partnerships and OEM relationships . I have asked for no compensation beyond a normal expense allowance and performance oriented commission. As of this date, I have had no acceptable response from the company and I am now moving on with my career.
Franklin is a company with significant potential. It is a company with many talented people, dedicated to the company and committed to it's success. I believe that, with appropriate leadership, the company could become a stand alone enterprise of scale.
To the hundreds of you who have written and called me over the last few months, I thank you for you many kind wishes.
Regards, Peter S. Buswell
(P.S. I maintain a modest common stock position in this company.) |
