I originally bought MRVC based on the recommendation from Individual Investor's Magic 25 (long time ago). I stayed through 2 stock splits (and Carlton Lutt), took some profit along the way. I added to my position at 6 (only 25%) and have an average price of under $16. It is true, MRVC's ride has taught me some discipline. I stuck with them for 2 reasons - I believed that fiber optics is the future (though I did not expect that to turn true so quickly) AND more importantly, I trust the management. I have listened to their conference calls and I trust them. I guess nobody will argue the fact that management is everything for the long term success of a company. I learned a lot from reading the good posts of many on this thread especially "Sector". Thanks to all! Don't have CIEN, but good for you! Dayal
