Wow. That's about all that I can say. Wow. I'm thinking about all the smart, informed, well-thought-out articles I've read throughout 1999 saying: 1. The ERP industry is dead 2. SAP is a dinosaur, too big to respond quickly or grow fast. 3. Oracle, or Microsoft, or some company burning through its venture capital, is going to steal SAP's turf 4. the internet is the only growing software sector 5. SAP is not a internet company, and never will be 6. all of SAP's key people are leaving for the options given by internet startups. 7. European companies don't have the culture necessary to compete with American hitech companies Guess they were all wrong.
