I really am not paying attention. I forgot all about the socketed Celeron. Do you know what the mix is between socketed and carded Celeron these days?

$7 sounds like a very reasonable number for the PGA Celeron package. I'm guessing that AMD's package is ~50% higher or $10.

I believe the cache chips are considerably more expensive than the $10 you imply, but then again, Intel is manufacturing them.
