In reference to our quest for the perfect order-taker, here's my experience:

Waterhouse: Options commissions are sky high. Often approaching $200 for larger trades(say, $30k+). Phone waits are 20-30 minutes. Online confirmations take forever. All of my $20K or higher options trades get sent for review, which holds them up several minutes.

Brown: Pretty good overall, but only use TouchTone. Maybe someone has experience with online, if they have it. They have QCOM at 60%.

Ameritrade: Excellent overall. Only complaint is for larger share orders(5000), they execute it in parts and I end up with 5 or more trade tickets. They have GSTRF at 100%, but QCOM is normal(50/30).

Schwab: Left them several years ago due to supreme arrogance.

I would be interested in everyone else's experience. Try to reply to this post, so we can consolidate them and maybe arrive at some type of conclusion.

Thanks,
Cooters
