avici is indeed an interesting company...jnpr's megabit router looking downright slow when compared to avici, pluris and nexabit...lu bought out nexabit awhile ago and others like monterrey have sold out too...would be surprised if avici doesnt get bought out too before going public...csco's 7B buyout of cerent shows how much co's are willing to spend for upcoming tech's...nortel and lucent both have terabit routers in the works, but im not sure if csco does...if not, u can be sure they will be looking to take out pluris or avici soon. mact
