WMT also pioneered stock options for the masses in the corporation; I would say that WMT
has made more people rich than AMZN ever will. (Followed by Sears, then a few others, before
AMZN even shows up on the list.)

Let's not forget MSFT in the option department:-)

f you think about WMT's customer profile, they are lower to middle income, and in huge
numbers. And who is now coming on-line in huge numbers, who are the non early-adopters?
Right.

You are correct regarding WMT's customer profile. WMT did not really make an effor to be on the net until the masses were there. What would be the point? William says that is just an excuse on WMT's part and I respect William's judgement a lot. I believe William is wrong on this issue.

I don't think wmt needs to worry about amzn; it is really a non-issue to WMT's success.

I concurr. Amazon's management is kind of "goofy." They state they do not pay attention to the competition and only pay attention to how they run their business. Yet, the next think you know, they sue BNBN for the one click patent. If Amazon is not concerned about competition, then why bother devoting resources to that and specifically BNBN. Almost every site I go to now has some sort of one click option.
