There is quite a contrast between the official FCM press release and Buswell's personal letter of resignation. It would be nice to have been a fly on the wall and know what the "differences" were between Buswell and the Board. I have great respect for Buswell and his contributions to FCM. I trust there is a way for FCM to retain Buswell's vision and expertise.

I had the opportunity to meet Buswell at last year's shareholder's meeting. When I told him that I was from San Diego, he said that he had just bought a home in Carlsbad (San Diego's North County). I thought this was very curious for a Westlake Village executive.

I am impressed with the credentials of the two recent hires, John Field - FNET President and Steve Lee - FCM VP. Hopefully FCM can hire someone of this caliber to replace Buswell.

I am anxious to see FCM's 2nd quarter results. Frank Peters has stated," We are now entering the final month of what has been a highly productive quarter." I will be very interested to see the breakdown of FCM hardware sales and FNET service revenues. I remember the plan was to take FNET to an IPO once a $1.0 mil. / month in revenues was achieved. I hope the FNET IPO is this year.

The king is dead, long live the king.

PS Seth L., could you update the FCM thread introduction for 2000?
