More fun and games trying to get QP2 to update WOW via ASCII: Even tho QP2 has ability to daily update ASCII files, after the update if you try to view a chart in WOW--it isn't updated. This means you have to go into the WOW import function and import the file again each day to effect the current update. Can select ALL to update the list or folder, but it is still slower than the automatic update by QP2. I have just been experimenting with one QP2 list--the DJ30 stocks. When I first imported the list into WOW, 6 files had to be edited to remove integers. I got all 30 stocks into WOW. Today, It wouldn't import the daily update for MO because of an error in line 2, so had to go to windows explorer and edit the .csv file to eliminate an integer. WOW missed it the first go round, but found it the next time. It's ludicrous that WOW ASCII insists on 2 decimal places, but if you go to the WOW data through "maintenance", there are integers and if you try to add 2 decimal places it wont accept it. If it wasn't so funny, I think I'd cry <GG>.

BTW, QP2 says they will change their ASCII format to provide the required 2 decimal places--but they haven't done so as of tonight.
