Nuni, much as I respect you, we'll have to disagree on all counts regarding nihil. If he behaves toward his students as he does toward some of the people on SI, I have trouble seeing him as kind and sympathetic; his public postings indicate that he is not kind and sympathetic toward his students, in fact. As for brilliant: He has a fine mind, but a great deal of his knowledge is extremely superficial. I have discovered this superficiality repeatedly. It is a pity that he feels compelled to lecture on so many topics where he is poorly informed.
