I am wondering out loud here if there is a synergy between SIDT and NUKE. From my so far limited reading SIDT seems to have as thin a diamond layer as anyone, and it is the monolayer of diamond that represents the holy grail for diamond chips. Now if NUKE can diffuse insulation into these already thin layers making an effective monolayer, then you have the proverbial diamond chip with all it's marvelous properties without having to achieve the so far impossible actual monolayer. Although the diamond chip will not replace the silicon chip because of cost considerations, the specialty applications of the diamond approach would be worth an astronomical sum of money. Hopefully an engineer will eventually show up on the thread to clarify this.
