I also purchased the Samsung DVD-909 (for me) and the Konka 1800U (for my brother). Both use CUBE decoders, and both have worked fine thus far. However, I haven't tried The Matrix on either. Incidentally, a good way to buy is to go to www.shopper.com, click on Electronics, find the model you want, and then list by prices. Also, www.800.com is a good vendor. Ray
