I didn't hear McGinn's interview but from what I've read in the press, it seems clear LU had manufacturing problems. I'm guessing their timing is off not simply because they had to ramp mfging but b/c of the certification process. Every line has to be certified and the process is quite time consuming. Further proof of the high barriers to entry in the industry.

Bodes well for SDLI and JDSU, both.
