Brian. Thanks. I am looking at a cpl of cos. Yes. I bought JDSU at around 179 the day before that big drop. My great timing. I noticed that it was at 184 in after hours. I bought CMRC which is coming out of lock up, EXDS and QCOM in the same time frame. Csco and COVD sounds good. WCOM is dirt cheap and Sprint is selling off some stuff to pl. the regulators in Europe and here who are raising eyebrows about this deal. I am also debating about buying some more SFE. A little high right now. And then there is always more Intel and maybe 100 sh. of Msft. Even IBM is on my radar screen. I will read up on more things over the weekend. It's got to be something making money quick so I can pay my LU taxes. Thank GOD I had some profits left. gg. I almost feel like having lost a member of my family and we all know that you should NOT get attached to a company. I read the link on your other post. I am generally not quick to sell a company out when I have long term gains. But something just got to me here. A little close to earnings to suddenly find out that you come that much under. CPQ came to mind. And I listened to the CEO and it did not make me feel any better. I am sure that other cos. in that space will take advantage of this situation. The stock is now called a good bargain by some, maybe it is, but when I get burned like that I don't hang around for long. Even a lot of my Intel went on the chopping block when they gave this warning just before earnings way back when. Actually I am VERY tempted to get more of Intel at this time. ARIBA and ETEK don't look too bad. Darn. Some of those stocks went up too quick including EMC. I will never catch this stock at a price I want. Somehow I don't look at high prices when it comes to an internet stock. gg. Yeah. I know. EMC is internet. Good thing I have a whole weekend to decide. AOL. That was a short lived worry. Got back what it lost on Thursday. And Intel did great. Sonny
