Joe and Thread: Exactly right on SNDK prospects. Once the financial statement comes out for the last quarter, and once the patent infringement suit against Lexar is resolved (most likely in favor of SNDK), we won't see 100 again, unless the POST-split price reaches that figure. While the market for digital cameras and MP3 players should be extensive in terms of demand for a consumer product, I am looking for considerably more business applications, such as small notebook computers with 128 mb or larger storage for program applications and document files, weighing less than 1 lb., with considerably longer battery life than notebooks using a conventional hard drive. These devices would contain a built-in wireless modem and voice communication capabilities, combining both cell phone and computing functions. They would outsell the currently popular palm computers with wireless capability because those devices lack a full size keyboard for serious messaging, writing, spread sheet, and other applications.
