Very interesting article. . thanks, Dennis. . . . I have to say that these guys sure went to a lot of trouble to make their case . . . and convince us that because this phenom occurred 70% of the time, that it should necessarily occur now. . . implying all the signs are there for a repeat. . . that we should "FEAR THE ZEROS." As much as I look to history to predict the future, I realize that there are factors that bear on the markets that outweigh such history. *The individual online traders have REVOLUTIONIZED the stock market, just as the internet has revolutionized industry.* Ignoring this fact, in favor of accepting a grasping-at-straws argument from a bear journalist that had the gall to call this week "Stockalypse 2000". . . could be damaging to your portfolio. This week was neither good nor bad for me. . . it just was. And the strength toward the close on Friday, coupled with all that pension money, institutional money, etc. sitting on the sidelines looking for clear direction in the markets. . . tells me we go higher yet next week. . .and don't be surprised if cyclicals take a dump soon.
