According to Hitachi Data Systems (a senior engineer) who was running an integrated demo in the FC Community room at Comdex last November using Ancor's switches stated Ancor's VI product was unlike any other available and further stated they envisioned a long and prosperous relationship with Ancor not only due to technical superiority, but Cal and Ken's ability to execute according to plan. Interestingly, they foresee eventual widespread adoption of FC on LAN's and Backbone's as well and sooner rather than later.
