Ac has a lot of work ahead of it and to add to their problems, they have to deal with rising interest rates and energy costs. I think the market will wait until there is a quarter or two reported after the mergers to see if in fact they are able to make it work. As well, West jet Airlines is expanding east , and there may be another small discount airliner starting out of Hamilton soon, so competition in Canada willbe just as fierce as before . Ac will need to cut the fat quickly in order to make this work IMO.
