When the World Trade Center was bombed on Friday, Feb. 26, 1993, Annunziata commandeered a truck, a generator and a Port Authority official to rescue his New York hub, located in the flooded basement of the building. When a pump failed to remove water fast enough, Annunziata pounded a hole in a cement wall with a sledge hammer to let the water escape. TCG was back up and running on Monday. "
