ANCR sold off terribly last week, although I profitably flipped it a few times yesterday. It's fundamentals haven't changed, and ANCR apparently decided to make some kind of statement or news release before Monday's open, which I think may address the selloff and prove reassuring to longs (I'm going to be watching closely for it).

ANCR has a solid position in a very hot sector (fiber channel storage area network hardware/software) and is selling below half of the 52 week high. It's primary competition is BRCD, which has a huge market cap compared to ANCR, and I don't think the differential is justified based on technology and revenue projections.

T/A has got to look awful on ANCR after last week I would expect, but that's not my expertise.

I'm considering a Ztrade Monday where I bite the bullet on my nonperforming HAS, and substitute ANCR in the expectation of a rapid price recovery - I'd think at least 25% price appreciation in next 30 days is doable.

Would appreciate others' viewpoints if I'm thinking stupid or not! <g>
