Here is the note I just sent to CNBC:

Several weeks ago ... you were broadcasting the "Bre-X is a Hoax" line
every 15 minutes. You had special interviews with industry insiders,
including John Kaiser who totally defamed Bre-X as a hoax. Your news
was full of "salting" reports ... in short you bought the negative line hook line and sinker propagating every misinformation and disinfomation slur you could find.

Now the truth is coming out!!

There was no salting ... no hoax ... and millions of ounces of gold are
there ... just like Bre-X has claimed.

How you could have overlooked 38,000 assays, 5,000 check assays,
multiple assay labs, 15 geologists on staff, many independent geologists
and expert analysts who actually visited Busang is beyond me.

Instead you took the low road, never even read the BXM PR which stated
they were reporting their independent engineering firm, Strathcona ...
had stated they had overstated their reserves. BXM never stated or
agreed with this ... yet you repeated it over and over ... almost as
often as the OLD NEWS that Pres. David Walsh had a personal bankruptcy
in his past ... as do many other successful entrepreneurs.

You have maligned a fine company, an ethical staff and years of their
diligent work.

In the past 12 hours the following news has been released:

1. Bre-X has released the latest set of drill results ... they are
fabulous!

2. Bre-X has released Placer Dome and Barrick from their
confidentiality agreements so they may tell their assay stories.

3. Freeport has admitted they used smaller sample core sizes ... an
error readily discoverable on the BXM website prior to their drilling.
This error resulted in sample assay sizes many times smaller than
required to assay the gold using a cyanide leach protocol.

4. I understand the Strathcona results will be released soon fully
documenting Bre-X's position over these past 3 years.

So where are you now in helping piece Bre-X's reputation back together.
Where are you in reporting the incredible damage caused to the
stockholders ... personal bankruptcies, margin calls, suicides and
destroyed families?

Are you going to stand up and be counted in being as fervent in this
cause as you were being a purveyor of misinformation? Or are you going
on to the next "sensational" story in National Enquirer style?

There is a story of historical magnitude playing out right under your
nose. Where are you at in this picture?

Will you be a high-road player ... or will you joing the defensive
position of the Canadian press saying this proves there needs to be more
government controls ... more bureaucrats ... etc. etc. ad nauseum.

If you want to learn the real story as to what's been going on ... come
join us on the Silicon Investor: talk.techstocks.com

The mainstream press has blown this one! A major black eye for
overzealous reporters searching for a seamy story rather than seeking
the truth that was right in front of them.

Are you going to stand up and be counted and support the salvage of the
reputation you played a major role in destroying ... or are you simply
going to put your head in the sand?
