With IBM leaving Inacom, no mention of continued business with Dell, can HP be far behind. I think this is a big plus for the other distributors as CPQ takes on the burden of a system that before them was at 50% capacity , Ingram can only thank CPQ for taking out the competition. If CPQ truly thought that IBM et al would continue business as usual than it shows the maturity of management, VARs and manufacturers will be leaving Inacom in droves. In their effort to emulate the second largest ( DELL ) they've forsaken those that made them the largest, they're biting the hands that brought them where they are and IMO it will come back to roost.
