Worst than whining is making demeaning remarks about the guy having his nose up women's skirts and what have you. Is that really called for? The company will report stellar earnings, BS stronger than ever, sold market share gains, good margins, and stronger net presence. The next day some jackass analyist will express "caution" for, let's say, Y3K, and the stock will be down $2 in response. It's frustrating to see GTW warn and the stock goes up $4 the next day while DELL takes the hit. You don't see me whinning and making personal attacks on the guy.<< Alright, I agree it was a cheap shot of me to say that about our Mr. Michael Dell and I apologize for any other comments that are less than professional and sensitive.. I guess yesterday when I read the story about his wife's dress business and the fact that Michael is on her board of Directors it just ticked me off a little to see all the negative rumors and things going on with Dell whereas Mr Dell fails to posture himself to reduce the tension and fears of investors and shareholders. Perception is a tremendous psychology and Dell has lost some of its luster over the past several quarters. I do not want to bail out of the company since it is my largest holding. I have been taking much criticism for a long time because I have not bailed out of Dell. Hope for better days. I think Venkie does make some very interesting points in a more appropriate and polished fashion regarding Dell. Best Regards Frank
