INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Interactive Intelligence(R) (Nasdaq: ININ) announced today that it had won Technology Marketing Corp.'s (TMC(TM)) biannual Best of Communications Solutions(TM) EXPO award for its exhibit at Communications Solutions(TM) Fall '99 (formerly CTI(TM) EXPO Fall '99). Editors and engineers from TMC(TM) judged nominations based on technological innovation. Judges placed an emphasis on each product's feature set, its ability to work with existing standards, and the degree to which it contributed to the development of future CTI, Internet telephony, and call center products and services.

Interactive Intelligence's exhibit at Communications Solutions(TM) EXPO Fall included a live, interactive demonstration of the company's latest release of its flagship product, the Enterprise Interaction Center(R) (EIC) version 1.3. The demo featured new call control and conferencing capabilities, multimedia queuing, and web chat and web callback features. Interactive Intelligence also demonstrated its new email response management product called e-FAQ(TM). e-FAQ(TM) was used at Communications Solutions(TM) EXPO Fall to power the show's informational kiosks, enabling attendees to enter questions about the EXPO and receive automatically generated email answers.
