I had a feeling that would be true. I once accidentally dyed my hair to very close to the color of eggplant. I had been using a reddish brown color at home, which just gave me reddish highlights. So, I thought that redwood brown, a darker reddish color, would be cool-----hehehe. Eggplant. Since my natural color is not quite so dark, it was interesting. Took a while to wash out. That was about 18 years ago. Since then, only the pros color my hair.<g> M
