A simple way to look Bluetooth vs. HDR, is to think of Bluetooth as a wireless local network. Where as HDR will be like broadband wide area data network. In other words, Bluetooth will be used to make a wireless connection between devices that are close together, from a pop machine to a handset. While HDR will be used to connect devices that are far apart, such as a home PC connected to the net with a highspeed (broadband) wireless connection.
