Haqi, I don't frequent this thread that much nor do I read every response in detail, so I apologize if this has been said already. I heard that the original Hebrew that was used in that statement literally meant, "dying, you shall die".
In other words, once the "fall" took place, the process of death began in man. As one individual put it: Once you are born, both life and death are taking place. You come to a point where the death process begins to excel faster than the life process, resulting in final death-cessation of being.
Of course, I'm not talking "spiritually" here. Hope this helps a little. |
