Rise,
I'm no expert in TA, but, any statistical method is meaningless on small sample sizes. The behaviour of a light trading trading stock like TKR reflects the actions of a very few (if any) traders each day. One person might need a couple of weeks to dump or pickup a decent position. You can't make a trend out of one person's trades.

Keep TA to stocks that trade enough to reflect a consensus opinion. That way, trends in the action of the stock actually reflect trends in investor opinions. Of course, if trading volume on TKR suddenly jumps, and involves trades from more than one house, TA may become applicable.
