Nice article on Mot and IDX in Arizona Republic on Jan 1st. Touched on Oceanside and other items already put on the thread. Here are some other tidbits that I haven't seen. Mot and IDX have worked together for over 17 months. Mot, the 3rd largest chipmaker, is the main supplier to carmakers and is aggressively taking this technology to that market. (TRW is the main company developing car F P systems and is the company that Fowler worked for) Envsioneering Group of N Y expects to see this technology in about 10 to 50 mil Cell phones in a couple of years. No wonder the Mot V P is gung ho on this product. They have sold about 150,000 units for the P C market so far mostly to Compaq. Ron
