The GMGC website is still not updated today. I thought they might get it done in time for the opening of the auto show in Detroit. I just can not understand why at this moment in time they want to look do shabby. I am guessing that with all of the news on GMGC's runup they are getting at least 2,000 hits each day from potential new investors.

The MyTalk site hits for December (230th most unique hits) is very good news.

General Motors does a big lunch and press conference tomorrow at the auto show from 10:50 AM - 12:40 PM Detroit time. I would think some news releases may come out at about the start of the conference. Press conferences start today already on the concept cars, and Onstar could be mentioned today although innovation in the more traditional automotive design areas will get most of the attention. This morning's NY Times had a feature on the show, but I found no mention of Onstar.

The Raging Bull site has some excellent posts (and also a bunch of thoughtless one-liners). EdVirtual on that site is a technology-convergence investor with a large stake in GMGC. He lives in the Detroit area and seems to know the auto markets well. Read his posts which have excellent (although totally one-sided) information.

I would think there is a chance for a significant letdown midweek if there is no big news. I also still think there is a chance of a buyout (at some modest premium over the current price) since that is the only scenario that I can come up to explain GMGC's inattention to their brand and staff reductions (especially the technical VPs).

When the market almost hit the low end of my investment target ($7) at the close on Friday and left some unfilled gaps (as noted by John M) I sold my position. I am looking to get back in if the price retreats in the early morning. With the auto show, it promises to be a crazy week.
