Lola, I don't think there is that kind of manipulation onthe TSE but you may be right with the VSE.If you do a correlation sometime between the time the order shows as open and then the trades executed you will see what I am referring to. As to bkokerage(discount) in Canada we are still operating in the dark ages with companies trying to make them extremely profitable by understaffing and using archaic technology utilizing the excuse that the are just following the KYC rule,being responsible to shareholders,ETC. I had the good fortune to speak with a trader out of Toronto and he explained why I had to wait as long as 20 minutes+ in the last half hour was due to the sheer magnitudes of trades.Now let's stop and think.Are they understaffed and why????Who is responsible for staffing??If you know you are busiest between 9:30 and 10:30 EST and 3: and 4:00 EST why does the telephone staffing not reflect this???These people are in the business to make commissions not dole out excuses as to why they never made any commissions from me because I sat on hold.Damn If I missed how many other people missed with the phone and how many people hung up and said what else is out there to trade with???
