HDR is one very fast completely CDMA channel which sends packets all the time. The users are then buffered up and Time MUtiplexed onto the channel in a TDMA fashion. The technology is CDMA for the radio link. There are no TDMA patents used here at all. The TDMA patents refered to are specific patents for OVER THE AIR TECHNOLOGY.
