I think the DOJ thing has already been built into the stock price , and it is now a pure fundamental and New product play. Don;t you think it is a Microsoft trading pattern, i.e break out and retreat back for 5% to 10% and consolidate and break out again ? Did you see that trading pattern lately ?

If the DOJ think is a real threat, Microsoft should either not move up at all or just have been down to the drain. Look at MO !!!!

To me, I think the trading pattern of Microsoft gave a lot of opportunity for long term Microsoft investors to build up the base at lower price. To accumulate 50k shares at a lower price during the consolidation and shoot up for $10 is better than stock shoot up to the sky in two days, but you have only 1000 shares. So, the trading pattern gave real investors a lot opportunity to accumulate at low price base.
