I can't see how a product with this type of markup is going to take over the light bulb market

that is already well underway. . The lifespan, high brightness, and reduced power consumption of SiC LEDs makes them quite suitable now. Presently these qualities make the LEDs particularly well-suited for battery operated devices and vehicle apps as well as any app where long-life bulbs are required.

IMO, it just does not fit this board yet.

I will respect your's and Frank's wishes in that regard. Since CREE is growing revenues 4x faster than QCOM did last year, I doubt it will take long to meet your requirements.

LB, I am obviously excited about this company. I appreciate your entering the discussion...I am going to leave you with a thought that may cause you too reconsider brushing CREE aside even temporarily.

In addition to all of the other things that CREE is involved in, I was just thinking that CREE may make more $ from cellphones than QCOM.

Potentially 4-6 SiC LEDs per phone for all the phones not just CDMA phones, and SiC may be used in all the relay towers and base stations throughout the world.
