Rocket Man, if John's post accurately describes the totality of TiVo's technology, it seems to me that the "interactive" element of TiVo does not apply to a program guide but applies to the ability of the viewer to control (i.e., stop, play, record, rewind or fast forward) the section of content from the TV or Web that he/she desires. Thus, Sony's close involvement. Does any one on the thread maintain that TiVo's technology is program-guide related? Steve
