The internal morass of unmaintainable spaghetti-ware has caused development cost to skyrocket, and functionality to plummet. The cost-of-ownership is astronomical for this garbage-ware. But what's truly outrageous is their new-found affection for open standards. It would not surprise me if only 10% of Novell's code base is actually maintainable. They are inferior in every way, shape and form except one, and they give that away for free. Fortunately for users, they are only subjected to the external vileness of the products. You are free to disagree, but I would appreciate it if you would offer some proof versus just trashing me personally.
