Finally saw the WSW special with the 4 guests who picked their favorite stocks for 2000. Byrini and Dessaur(sp)picked CPQ. Each person picked from about 6 to 12 stocks. Other high tech stocks chosen were AOL, MSFT, INTC, and IOM. I did not hear SUNW, LSI(although LSI was one of last year's picks)CSCO, DELL, etc. mentioned. The Oriental gentleman, I believe his name may have been Kim, picked LU, which has since gone down the pipes. Many of the stocks picked were large cap stocks and many are currently beaten down. Very few if any high-flying internet stocks were chosen. I guess this is a pretty shabby recap. I shoulda taped it and been more accurate here. El |
