Marc, re: "While I doubt an outright bear call as I discussed I believe there is zero relation between Bob being on the air or not and a change in market call. Bob has no problem with this as was obvious by his ability to screen calls. . . "

I have to say I'll change my mind and flip-flop 180 degrees. Not because they can do such a good job of screening to avoid questions about market outlook, etc. Someone could always sneak through the screening process, and then ask about his "bear call" on the air. This is precisely the reason Bob might want to be on the air in this circumstance, rather than leave the handling of this type of call up to his substitute. (A few months ago, Flanigan (sp?), when asked, assured a caller that Bob had not called "the bear"). I can't see Bob either giving instructions to Flanigan on how to handle such a call, or on the other hand, just giving it to Flanigan to handle as he wishes.
