I disagree. Intel already took a risk of upselling to keep their profits in Q4. What will the management do next to keep the stock price up?

I agree with your assessment. I believe, down the road, Intel will gradually loose its power to demand premiums on its products as Athlons become more widespread and AMD spends more on Athlon advertisements. Currently Coppermines prices are 25% - 30% above the equivalent Athlons by taking into account the recent price cuts by AMD. IMHO, trimming down the 25% - 30% existing price premium to 10% levels alone could be an headache to Intel in the near term.
