REsponse to you both, 1: very true about the workforce problem,John. Sounds a lot like what I was stating here about WSTL months back. Guess, what ? It matters less when the technology can plug and play. Enter WSTL modems in BEll Atlantic and others. And there will be others just because of that ease of use WSTL has. 2.Efficient sucks. Bell Atlantic knows it and will do something about it. Stay tuned. 3. DSLAM breakdown? ALA? Good thing WSTL moved away from that area. Think where WSTL would be if it had to staff the engineers and support personnel for the DSLAM now?! Couldn't be done financially, that is why they remain in the modem side and plug business. And to be quite profitable come mid-year. Stay tuned!
