Mobeo is meant for ultimate portability and reception.

My cell phone does not work in our building. There is a guy with a RIM pager that works. I read that it will work with a 10 percent signal strength.

Does the Palm VII also work with low signal strength? One site indicated it works best outside. I need something that will work inside a building that seems to absorb signals.

I spent the day looking into wireless Internet access. I was surprised how far it has advanced in the last year.

The Palm looks interesting but I am concerned about the signal strength inside a building...need some way to verify before buying. I have not seen any free trials for the Palm yet. Also I have not found any service with unlimited real time quotes although Flextrader indicates they are coming.

I spent some more time on the DLJdirect site. It looks like you can trade with the Palm but not the RIM pager.

Waiting even a couple of months seems to be the way to go. Things seem to be changing rapidly. Even the Palm looks questionable compared to unlimited wireless Internet access on a standard laptop for $59 per month goamerica.net although signal strength inside buildings is also a question.

The Mobeo would be a good deal at about a third the price. I cannot see how the Palm or the RIM can compete with $59/month unlimited Internet access on a laptop or one of the Windows CE mini notebooks.

Thanks for the response
