CREE's only functional products right now are LED's, whose market potential at this time is too small to create a full-fledged Simian, and fake diamonds ('nuff said). Not strictly correct. See the post about CREE's power MESFET being named one of the products of the year in Microwave and RF trade mag. The application is in PCS base stations where it replaces numerous other Silicon based power devices (and probably a bank of cooling fans). This is the kind of application that can create a true tornado as the winds are strong in wireless these days and this device is a discontinuous innovation in this space. Fatboy
