Mike I have no real knowledge of how Citrix is actually deployed. So all this is only an extrapolation from other observations. Core technologies - such as Metaframe which provides remote access - require more than just cost savings to switch. Nonetheless, we have also seen companies migrate from one mail server to another -- an equally sensitive area. Open RDP will definitely reduce Citrix. Not having to deal with Metaframe will be an incentive to switch. This will be the killer. On the plus side, should a hardware maker provide native support for ICA, Citrix will be more solid than ever. -Dinesh
